Results that matter

I believe good therapy isn’t about fixing people, it’s about helping them understand themselves with greater clarity, compassion and flexibility.

My work is grounded in behavioural science and informed by modern, evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Rather than following a rigid protocol, I draw on these approaches to meet your individual needs, recognising that meaningful change rarely comes from a single model.

As a gay therapist, I’m particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and creating a therapeutic space where diversity is welcomed and affirmed. My master’s research explored LGBTQIA+ experiences of therapy and the importance of culturally responsive, affirmative care—an area that continues to shape my practice.

I also work from a trauma-informed perspective, recognising that many of the ways we think, feel and behave are understandable responses to difficult experiences rather than signs that something is “wrong” with us. Therapy offers the opportunity to make sense of these patterns, develop psychological flexibility, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.

Above all, I believe therapy should feel collaborative, respectful and human. You are the expert on your life. My role is to bring psychological knowledge, curiosity and compassion to help you make sense of your experiences and support the changes that matter most to you.
