Therapy Modalities
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based talking therapy that helps you notice and change unhelpful patterns in your thoughts and behaviours. Together, we break problems down into smaller parts, explore how your thinking affects how you feel and act, and practise new skills so you can respond more flexibly and confidently in everyday life.
Functional Analytical therapy
Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) is a form of talk therapy that focuses on what happens between you and your therapist in the session. The idea is that the way you relate in therapy often reflects how you relate in everyday life. By noticing these patterns in the moment, your therapist can respond in helpful, genuine ways that support new, healthier ways of connecting with others outside of therapy.
Acceptance and Commitment Training
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a modern, evidence-based approach that helps you make room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them. Together, we focus on what truly matters to you, build mindfulness skills, and take small, meaningful steps toward your values. The goal is not to get rid of discomfort, but to help you live a fuller, more flexible and purposeful life, even when challenges show up.

Life doesn't have to be falling apart before therapy becomes worthwhile.
You might be feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected, repeating patterns that no longer serve you, or simply wondering why things feel harder than they should.
Therapy is an opportunity to better understand how your experiences have shaped the way you think, feel and respond to the world. Together we'll make sense of what's happening, develop practical skills where they're needed, and create meaningful, lasting change—not by chasing perfection, but by helping you build a life that feels more flexible, connected and true to your values.

My approach is grounded in behavioural science, informed by trauma, and adapted to you as an individual. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, relationships or major life changes, therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate and rooted in approaches that are supported by evidence.
